Experience & Expertise

In my career and training, I’ve gained extensive experience in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, interdisciplinary medical consultation, community mental health care, crisis evaluation, and inpatient psychiatric intervention from an integrative psychodynamic framework. The opportunity to serve in so many roles has enriched my understanding of the human condition, as I draw from these experiences regularly in my work with patients, students, and other providers.

With over a decade in private practice, I specialize in insight-oriented psychotherapy for individuals and couples. My expertise lies in helping people develop a deeper understanding of their inner world — how they think, feel, relate to others, and find themselves caught in recurring patterns. I believe that meaningful, lasting change begins with this kind of reflective curiosity. As your psychologist, I aim both to help relieve the symptoms you're facing day to day and to create a space where we can make sense of what’s unfolding beneath the surface. In addition to therapy, I also maintain a small assessment practice through which I help patients and other providers find answers to a variety of diagnostic and psycho-social questions.

Another of my professional passions is the training, teaching, and supervision of students and junior colleagues. I’ve served as an adjunct clinical supervisor for trainees at the Pennsylvania Hospital's APA-approved Clinical Psychology internship program, and also offer private supervision to those seeking additional education and support in their clinical work.
